The Long-Range Planning Committee (LRPC) is chaired and composed by the Past President of the BFC, who also determines the topic for the year. It is designed to offer space for long-term, strategic thinking about matters that are likely to impact teaching, research, and/or faculty status on the Bloomington campus.
2026-2027 Assignments
For 2026-27 the Long Range Planning Committee will work to implement the recommendations from the university level working group report around the re-affirmation around Free Speech and Academic Freedom. This will involve coordination with school/college level initiatives and any campus-level working groups.
