Selection of BFC officers

Overview

This proposal states members of the Executive Committee, other than the Secretary and Parliamentarian, who are elected, will be chosen as described in the bylaws. This brings the Constitution and the Bylaws into agreement and reflects current practice.

The Bloomington Faculty Council voted unanimously to approve this proposal.

Current constitution

Article III Section 3.1: Officers part C
The Council shall elect from among its elected faculty members a a Secretary, a Parliamentarian, and an Executive Committee. The Secretary and the Parliamentarian also shall serve as members of the Executive Committee.
