This proposal removes the specific timing requirement of the State of the Campus address. The State of the Campus generally occurs in the spring, not the fall semester as currently stated in the Constitution.
The Bloomington Faculty Council voted unanimously to approve this proposal.
Article IV Section 4.2: Annual Report on the State of the Campus
As early as practicable during the fall semester of each academic year, on a date fixed by the Bloomington Provost, the Provost will report on the state of the Bloomington campus at a regular meeting of the Bloomington Faculty Council. The report shall be distributed to all members of the faculty by electronic or paper media.
